If there was ever a time to pray, hope, and send every good thought and vibe into the universe, it’s right now.

They just wheeled Micah back to surgery to repair his carotid artery. The team is doing everything they can to avoid opening him up any more than absolutely necessary. The surgeon, PA, and the entire surgical team are determined, especially after realizing that a fellow doctor made a mistake during the earlier procedure to right that wrong and repair the damage.

While they’re in there, they’re also planning to place a line for dialysis. If the artery repair is successful, this line will give him the chance to finally start clearing the toxins that have been overwhelming his body.

Micah is in surgery right now.

This is one of the highest-risk moments of his entire journey, but also one of the few remaining opportunities to help him keep fighting. We’re holding onto hope with both hands.
